Fundraising Book The Under Tree Folk; Anita Newton

The book is being sold to raise money for MNDA to try to help all those who are affected by this disease whether you are a sufferer, and carer or a family member.

I started writing after the passing of my husband Craig from motor neurone disease in 2022. The stories came about because Craig used to tell me stories at night when I couldn't sleep. After Craig's passing I started making up my own stories. These stories were inspired by a visit to one of England's oldest trees. It was enormous, with huge sprawling roots. I began to imagine small people living amongst the roots and the idea of the Under Tree folk was born. Since then I have written many stories about their life and adventures. Some of the proceeds for the sale of this book will go to the motor neurone disease association to further research into this cruel disease.
